Finding a hair salon, a plumber or a pet groomer in Hong Kong usually means one of two things: asking a friend, or trawling Google. And once you have a name you still have to work out the opening hours, the price, and whether there's a slot today.

Hong Kong has no complete directory of local services. There is no government licensing or public register for hair, beauty, nails or massage — the industries people search for most are the ones with the least published data.

Living01 exists to close that gap: one place to find them, and to book them directly.

When a business takes a booking, we take nothing from it.

That isn't a slogan. Commission-based platforms have a structural problem: they have an incentive to promote the businesses that can afford the commission, not the ones that suit you. Once revenue is tied to ranking, the results stop being ordered for your benefit.

We charge a flat platform fee. Five bookings a month or five hundred, a business pays the same. Doing well doesn't cost you more.

Online booking, unlimited bookings, services and prices, staff rosters, multiple locations, email notifications — all on the free plan, with no time limit.

Paid plans add conveniences like a custom web address. They don't decide whether you can do business. Asking a small shop to pay before it can take a single booking puts all the risk on the side that can least carry it.

Most listings are compiled from public sources, mainly OpenStreetMap (ODbL licence). Every business page states its source — a list that can't say where it came from doesn't deserve to be trusted.

If a listing is yours, you can claim it. From that point the page is yours: edit the details, add services, take bookings — all free.

Don't want to appear? Ask us to remove it — no account needed. You never asked to be listed, so making you register in order to leave would be absurd.

We won't sell your personal data.

We won't use the phone number you leave when booking for marketing. You left it to get a haircut, not to receive ads. (Under Part VIA of Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, marketing use without consent is a criminal offence — but the simpler reason is the previous sentence.)

We won't delete a genuine negative review because a business dislikes it. Content that is clearly fake, promotional or unlawful gets removed; a real person's real experience does not disappear because someone complained.
